  • Operate & maintain control on a variety of intricately connected fab support systems putting safety first and actively participating in ERT.
  • Perform PMs using skills of the craft while keeping costs low, and using critical thinking skills.
  • Work together as a team in alignment with business goals to support fab so that all Manufacturing metrics are met or exceeded.


    • Primary duty is compressed shift plant operator responsible for monitoring the operation and responding to issues for cooling towers, boilers, chillers, cooling water, compressors, solvent/acid pollution abatement, EDOCs, electrical, air handlers, HVAC, chemical/gas distribution, waste water treatment, Fire Life Safety, admin bldg upkeep, waste management.
    • Has understanding in responding to facilities system alarms using safe work practices, troubleshooting techniques, and good communication skills while following escalation protocol.
    • Complete assigned PMs demonstrating substantial understanding of skills of the craft.
    • Conduct plant rounds per procedure finding and resolving issues as observed. Change chemical drums, drive forklift, handle wastes generated by the fab, and clean EDOC abatement units.
    • Administrative tasks include consistently using on-line passdown each shift.
    • Supporting Emergency Response Team is required. Prior first response training is desirable.
    • Must be willing to work any shift, practice good time management, and exhibit strong motivation.


    • Able to stand and walk for extended time periods during a 12 hour shift.
    • Essential daily tasks require maintaining physical condition necessary for such functions as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, performing plant rounds, bending, squatting, kneeling and associated movements common to performing maintenance on equipment etc.
    • The successful candidate will need to pass a physical and be respirator qualified.


  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of prior experience as a facility or equipment maintenance technician highly desirable. An associate's degree in science is preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate electro-mechanical aptitude required. General knowledge of PLCs, experience with calibrations is desirable.
  • The ability to read and understand SDSs, and follow environmental and safety regulations as they pertain to designated tasks is required. Chemical handling experience is preferred.
  • Must use good judgment in troubleshooting, ensuring safe measures are taken while following policy, and understanding equipment connectivity to fab tools.
  • Must have basic computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, and e-mail.
