Jireh Semiconductor, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Ltd., is the in-house wafer fab for AOS and is located in Hillsboro, Oregon.


Performs functions associated with Tier 1 PC support / Help Desk support for 24/7 manufacturer.


  • Manage company help desk ticket system, assign tickets to appropriate tech / developer
  • Provide Tier 1 / Help Desk support for in-house users (450+ users)
  • Perform IT tasks and projects as assigned, assist the other IT admins
  • Document processes and procedures as needed
  • Respond to emergency after-hour alerts as needed (will be on-call along with team)


  • Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • May need to enter clean room environment occasionally; must be able to comply with clean room specifications that require all to wear a clean room suit, including hood, mask, protective eye-wear and clean room boots while inside.
  • Comply with all company safety procedures and protective wear in as directed.


  • AA Degree or higher (preferred) in related computer field -OR- 1-2 years of experience with PC repair in a domain / enterprise environment
  • Relevant certifications helpful but not required



Must have knowledge and experience with the following:

  • PC hardware and software troubleshooting, repair and installation
  • MS Windows (10 and older; Experience with Win XP and older helpful but not req)
  • MS Office suites
  • Basic Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet cabling
  • Printer and peripheral support
  • Managing users and computers in a domain / enterprise environment

Additional, must have the following:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and courteously with team and other users
  • Be able to learn and adapt to new changes in processes, policy, and technology
  • Follow and take direction from multiple team members, follow department and company procedures and policies


  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and environments
  • Knowledge of basic VMware functions
